The apartment is compact, though it has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a small kitchen with good equipment. The washer/dryer was useful and worked well, and the home has heating and cooling. It’s a lovely place within an easy walk of the historic temple district and its charming cafes, shops, and restaurants.

A quiet, cute neighborhood with a walkable location, and the place was super clean. My husband, toddler, dad, and I had plenty of bathrooms, three in all, with three showers, plus a washer and dryer. This was my favorite place we stayed in Japan.

We slept comfortably as a group of nine, and the neighborhood was very quiet. The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, all with showers, plus a washer and dryer. Saito’s place is a good way to experience a traditional Japanese home in a historic temple district. Kiyomizu-dera is walkable, and there are charming shops, eateries, and plenty of kimono rentals nearby.

The location in and near Gion was fabulous, and I’d absolutely stay here again. There’s a little garden, lovely doors, and a beautiful tatami room with comfortable futons. The home has three bedrooms, including that tatami room, and lots of space. The shower pressure was great too.

The hosts were quick to respond, and it was easy to get around from here. Stores, bars, and plenty of other conveniences are all within walking distance. It’s a great residence in a fabulous location.
