We loved how clean and beautiful the place was, with traditional Japanese style alongside some modern touches. The shower and tub were fantastic, and the washrooms had heated seats. It was also within walking distance of nightlife and stores. The staff were polite and English-friendly. The place felt quiet and cozy, and the service was great. It’s a unique experience worth trying even for a single night, and we’d definitely return next time we visit.

The building has a quiet feel, and it's a very good inn. There's a convenience store two minutes away along with a small coffee shop. Kyoto nightlife and shopping are about a 15-minute walk.

A lovely, authentic Japanese house with modern touches, and a great base for exploring Kyoto. It worked perfectly for our group of five. Nearby mini-markets have ATMs, groceries, and ready-made meals to cook in the kitchen.

We were a family of four and stayed one night. The peaceful interior was relaxing, and we’d definitely like to come back. The amenities and delicious coffee were a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook. Several coin parking lots are available, so getting around by car wasn't inconvenient, though I do wish there were a contracted parking lot. The location is excellent for a walk along the Kamo River, and you can also visit the Imperial Palace and City Hall, or walk to Heian Shrine if you don't mind a bit of distance. Thank you very much.
