The huge windows bring in loads of light, so waking up to the morning sun was lovely. This is a one-of-a-kind Kyoto guesthouse, and it feels perfect for an anniversary celebration. There are even plans with private chefs and appetizers for gatherings, plus they only host one group a day, which is a nice bonus. As you’d expect from a florist-run place, it’s stylish and refreshing. The female owner chooses and makes even the smallest decorative pieces by hand. It feels far more special than an ordinary cafe.

The flower shop on site made the room feel especially lovely, with flowers arranged throughout. It was spotless, including the bathroom, and really cute. I booked after looking at the website and stayed with my mother, though it would also suit couples or friends traveling together. I’d love to come back for an anniversary or another special occasion.
