They even left a fresh towel hanging on the door when I hadn't requested room cleaning, which was a thoughtful touch. Service was excellent. The hotel is near the station and a shopping centre just a few minutes away on foot, with many attractions also within walking distance.

The amenities are self-service, picked up near the first-floor elevator, and I liked that bath salts were provided. There are two convenience stores just steps away behind the nearby shopping mall. The hotel is right in front of the Kawa River, in a popular spot within walking distance of Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Very convenient.

We loved how calm it was at night and after a full day of sightseeing. The location made Kyoto easy to explore, with public transport nearby and lots of cute cafes and shops around. Our room was spotless, cozy, and arranged with little touches that made it feel like home. From the minute we arrived, we felt welcome. The staff were always friendly and smiling, and even with our limited Japanese they were patient and helpful, so we felt comfortable throughout the trip. Thanks for being part of our lovely memories in Japan. We miss it already and hope to come back someday! Thank you so much for the kindness and wonderful hospitality in Japan! We'll come again 🌸😊

We spent seven days here on vacation in Kyoto and were very pleased with the stay. The room was clean, and the Tatami mats were comfortable. It had a kettle, hairdryer, small fridge, and safe. Staff were friendly, and being able to buy the Kyoto Bus + Subway One Day Pass at the counter was really handy. There's also a basement coin laundry, microwave, and vending machine. Getting around was easy, with bus routes and train stations nearby. Gion and the Nishiki Market are only a short walk away. We'd definitely come back if we're in Kyoto again.
