Saga Grace Hotel

The food was delicious🤤, and they prepared both dinner and breakfast for us. Since we'd booked a Japanese-style room, our meals were served in a separate Japanese room. The onsen was clean, and the staff were so nice and friendly. The place has a cute 2000s feel to it, which I didn't mind at all. Thanks for making us breakfast and dinner 🥹🙏🏻. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

My child left something behind, but when I got in touch, the staff found it and contacted me. They were a big help, thank you. We stayed over New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, with two rooms for nine adults. The hotel felt clean and calm, and the tatami and futons were just what we needed when we were tired. Before dinner we went to the bath. It was spacious, with lots of baskets in the changing room and plenty of showers, so even with several people it didn't seem like we'd have to wait. The large bath was relaxing. Both meals were lavish New Year's fare, with filling portions that included matsutake mushrooms. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Arashiyama.

February 2026 brought heavy snow (*_*), but I had a great stay and would love to come back. After a long day of walking, it was nice to unwind in the spacious room and bath. The public bath was clean and well looked after, and the changing area was spotless. I really appreciate having a bath like that on a walking-heavy trip. Breakfast was a treat too: Kinuhikari rice from Omi, cooked in a pot. I was excited to eat it. The bus stop was close by, and seeing Rilakkuma in the lobby was soothing. The downsides were that the Wi-Fi didn't work, and the room TV wasn't working in the morning. I don't know if the snow had anything to do with the TV issue.

We had a lovely family trip here. The hotel had a nice feel, and every staff member was kind and polite. With our children still small, having a supermarket and a Nishimatsuya nearby was convenient. We'd be happy to come again.
