SAIZEN Matsumuro stay

Jun and Aki were wonderful hosts. Before we arrived, Jun got in touch with links to his blog, which covered the information we needed. They also left folders explaining how to use the appliances and with carefully researched suggestions for local places to eat and shop. Jun's reference material on the coffee table covered convenience stores, supermarkets, buses, trains, sights, and restaurants. We drove, and having a car lot right below the apartment was very convenient. The apartment was spotless, and everything worked. The kitchen had what we needed to make more than a simple meal. In the living room there was a full sofa set, coffee table, a large TV (and another TV elsewhere in the apartment), plus a music console that linked by Bluetooth to our phones and other devices for Spotify or iTunes. There's a laundry room with plenty of ways to dry clothes, and the washer also has a dryer function, which was so useful. The bath has a deep onsen tub for a soak after a tiring day. There was even a massage chair, though we didn't use it. SAIZEN Matsumuro was spacious and fully equipped, just what we wanted. It was close enough to walk to Arashimaya early in the morning and beat the crowds, while still being far enough from the noisy, busy area. When we were shown around on arrival, we were delighted to find everything we expected from a home-stay, and more. It was the perfect fit.
