Yatsugatake Grace Hotel

At 1300m, the natural setting makes you want to slow down and enjoy being there. The star gazing was a highlight, and our spacious, clean room had a balcony with a glorious mountain view. A shuttle bus runs to and from Nobeyama Train Station. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Dinner needs to be booked, with a choice of Japanese or Steak options. I tried both, and they were delicious with generous portions. The staff were friendly, professional, and kind. As non-Japanese-speaking tourists, we felt very welcome and well looked after. It was an unforgettable stay, and I look forward to visiting this little piece of heaven again.

Dinner was amazing, and so was the stargazing. The narration is in Japanese, but you can still enjoy looking at the stars. I never expected a view and service this fantastic. We could come back to this hotel again and again in every season.

The room was cozy and had all the amenities we needed, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Sadly, it rained the whole time, so we couldn’t go stargazing. I imagine the night sky must be spectacular when the weather cooperates.

It was a really relaxing stay. On a clear day, sitting outside to watch the stars and talk with friends or family is lovely. Just avoid going when it’s raining. One side of the hotel looks out toward the breathtaking Alpine mountains, while the other faces trees and greenery, so choose your room side when booking.
