Minokamo Station Hotel

The room smelled a little too, so I used deodorizing spray, though there was an air purifier. The front desk had a cigarette smell. It's an old hotel, so maybe that's to be expected, but the room amenities felt a bit lacking. There was hot water in the bath, but it started lukewarm and only got hot partway through. I had to adjust the temperature by adding cold water. The conditioner-in-shampoo, face wash, and body soap were all in the same package.

The staff's service really stood out. I work with customers too, and I think hospitality matters most, so I was impressed by how sincere and efficient they were. I look forward to coming back.

I felt good about leaving my motorcycle in the fully covered parking area. The hotel seemed a little old, but it was clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and I'd like to stay here again.

There are lots of restaurants within a 30-second walk, and the front desk staff were helpful in the morning. The room itself had several letdowns, though. It was spacious and nice, but the cleaning wasn't great: there was an oil mark on the large table, which I had to wipe with my own alcohol wipes. I usually wipe hotel doorknobs myself since they don't seem to get cleaned properly. There was also some kind of paper or trash in the bathroom, which I flushed away. The shower water was cold, and I only found that out after getting in. I was annoyed and got out quickly.
