The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept soundly. It’s an established old inn, but I’d happily visit again. The radon bath left me warm right through and relaxed, and the food was delicious. The beautiful proprietress greeted us at check-in and check-out.

I was impressed to see the limited-time fireworks from so close. The rice portion was just right and tasted great, and the hot spring water left my skin feeling smooth. The landlady was very cute, and all the staff were friendly. I had a really pleasant stay!

The air conditioning worked well, which I appreciated. The rooms, hot springs, and service were excellent, and the rock-built public bath was nice, though the place didn’t feel very clean. The shower hoses and dividers in the washing area were slimy. There’s a bathroom in the room, but it’s a unit bath with no shampoo or similar supplies. I suppose that’s fine since most people will use the hot springs. The vending machine selection was a bit questionable, and there aren’t any convenience stores nearby, so buy things in advance.

We had room service on two weekdays, but they grilled meat and the smell was unpleasant. One day we ate in the lobby instead, and it was cold. The souvenir shop wasn’t even lit, so I wish they’d put in a little more effort. You can bathe until midnight, but when I went around 10pm, a male staff member was cleaning. I don’t know... During the day I went to a big hotel’s day spa, and they really made an effort there. It was nice!
