The building has an old-fashioned charm, and the onsen is modest but perfectly decent. Entry to the bath is 550 yen. There aren't many notable tourist spots right nearby, though.

My booking through Rakuten came to 8,690 yen for one night with breakfast, and the walk from Uchihara Station took about 15 minutes. The inn itself is old, though very clean inside, with roomy rooms that made for a comfortable stay. The heated, circulating mineral spring bath warmed me right through. Breakfast was delicious too, so next time I'd like to book both meals.

The food was delicious, and with the quiet surroundings I could properly relax. This place looks nearly a century old, built in a brothel style, almost like a film set or somewhere Kindaichi Kosuke might stay. Despite that, everything was spotless and neat. The mineral spring bath has no particular health benefits listed, but it warmed me up, and I still felt good after sleeping through the night.
