A few things to know: check-in is contactless, and you pick up the key from a key box before entering the apartment. After the first automatic door, the security door by the elevator won’t open with the password alone. There’s a box near the automatic door where you enter the code, and, as I learned after fumbling around and watching someone else, you also need to put the key into the keyhole underneath and turn it. There isn’t much to do at night, as other reviews mention, so I rented a Google Chromecast and found it really useful. It felt like a Japanese-style studio apartment, a bit like a B&B. The washer/dryer, gas stove and other utensils were a big help on expensive Miyakojima. I only wished there were a toaster. The location is good, with Blue Seal convenience stores and restaurants a short walk away, and the view from my room made for beautiful sunsets. The carpeted floor and lack of indoor slippers were a little disappointing. You have to sort and dispose of your own trash before leaving. I accidentally broke a dish while washing it and worried I’d have to pay, but a staff member calmly told me in Korean that it was okay, which I appreciated.

The bathroom had a chair and washbasin, and the view from corner room 708 was absolutely amazing. The location also makes it easy to get around, and I’d definitely stay again. One tip: the TV isn’t smart, so bringing our Fire Stick worked well for watching YouTube and movies at night.

This is my second stay, and this time I’m here for a month. They clean the room every ten days. The hotel faces the sea, the price is reasonable, and transportation is convenient. Taxi drivers know how to get here, and there are lots of large supermarkets nearby.

The studio apartment has a good view and everything I needed: kitchenware, a washing machine, a dryer and a bathroom. If I’m being picky, a bucket would make the bathroom perfect.
