The free beach and camping gear rentals made our time in Miyakojima especially fun. My husband and I borrowed chairs and bags, then spent a great day swimming and enjoying the water. The owner and staff were so friendly, too, and their attention to the small details made the trip even better. Meer Residence Hotel is near both the airport and Don Quijote. The facilities feel fairly new, everything was clean, and the service was excellent. We had a really comfortable stay and would definitely come back next time we visit Miyakojima. You can book with confidence.

The renovated rooms are good value, and the owner was so kind. They provided a crib for our children, which made the stay very comfortable. I’ll definitely come back.

We stayed May 6-8. The room was clean, comfortable, and inexpensive, and the location was great. Large shops for groceries and supplies were only a 5-10 minute walk away. A good choice for a trip with 2-3 people.

Don Quijote and Max Value are just around the corner, which made shopping really easy. They also had free life jackets and snorkeling gear in great condition, plus useful rentals like baby carriers, strollers, and hair irons. The view isn’t much, and there’s no ocean view, but the convenience more than made up for that for me.
