KOKO STAY Miyakonojo

The room was nothing special, but the location was good.

I'm here.

The meal voucher can be used another day, which is handy for anyone who comes back, and I later managed to enjoy a tasty breakfast. The main dish was sold out then, though, which was disappointing. It also looks like there's a coin laundry, which would be useful for a longer stay. Breakfast was advertised as available until 9:30, but when I arrived at the restaurant at 9:00, the entrance was already locked. No one explained that the actual last order was at 9:00. The inflexible response was disappointing; they could at least have offered takeaway. Since I couldn't eat breakfast that day, I would have preferred a refund.

I picked this hotel because I had an event at the cultural hall across the street and thought it was the closest option. Breakfast was included, checkout was at 11 a.m., and the price was in the 6,000 yen range. Fantastic. There was plenty of parking, and the hotel is close to the station. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection. Amenities were available to pick up in the front lobby after check-in. I also liked the non-sponge body towels and the plastic cover on the remote, a small detail that made it feel clean. Staff at reception and in the breakfast restaurant were very helpful. I recommend it.
