Business Hotel Hayashiso

I found this a good option for a solo trip to Miyazaki. It’s inexpensive, and check-in has a fun touch: you can play chinchirorin. The downtown area is a reasonable distance away, so getting there isn’t a problem. Keep up the good work!

The hotel is a bit old, though the inside has been renovated, including the unit bath and large TV. The LG TV took a little getting used to, but it felt cutting edge. I was impressed that I could watch YouTube, Amazon Prime, U-NEXT, and more on the clear LCD screen after logging in myself. Just remember to log out and take all your things with you. There’s a drink bar and shampoo bar. The chinchirorin game at reception was a quirky surprise. Apparently, winning gets you a draft beer. I lost. The parking area is a little separate, but I found a space. You have to leave your car keys at reception. It’s a great value place, though a bit of a walk from Miyazaki Station.

I stayed here while taking an exam and found it relaxing and comfortable. It’s a little far from the station, but I’m grateful for the peaceful place they provided. Maybe rolling doubles at chinchiro brought me luck, because I passed the exam.

This is a good base if you plan to spend your time out enjoying Miyazaki. There aren’t any special facilities, but for business travelers looking for somewhere cheap and reasonably clean, it fits the bill. I’d stay here again if I return to Miyazaki.
