The Onsen was a real highlight, and the all-you-can-drink offer runs until 10 PM. The hotel is clearly getting old, though that adds some charm. I only wish there were a cold bath after the sauna. Light also came into the room from spotlights, maybe for the car park, and there was no way to block it. Still, I’d happily stay again.

We came back in May 2025, four years after a stay that hadn’t gone very well, and the service and atmosphere had changed so much for the better. We rented the exclusive bath, and the food and all-you-can-drink options were great. When we returned in July 2025, they let guests with minimal tattoos use the public bath, which I really appreciated. Hope to be back soon. Highly recommend.

We found the room roomy enough for two, and both dinner and breakfast were quite good for a budget-friendly hotel. The onsen stood out most. The water felt lovely, and you could see the minerals in it. I really enjoyed the traditional Japanese decor around the bathing area.

The included dinner and breakfast were tasty, with all-you-can-eat food and drinks, and the staff were super friendly. We had a lovely view of the lake, and the rooms were clean and large enough. The decor feels dated, though maybe they’re going for a rustic, nostalgic look. The onsen was fine. Amenities were limited to soap and toothbrushes, and I could have used a disposable razor.

The outdoor baths are excellent, so I’d recommend the place if that’s what you’re after. The men’s and women’s baths switch each night, so try the other one during your morning bath. The room was clean and nice, though the bathroom was quite small.
