The high floor was really quiet, and the location couldn't be better. My twin room was spacious and well arranged, with a great shower and bathtub. I also appreciated the smartphone charger and the reading light, which you don't often get in hotels. The staff's fluent English and Chinese were much appreciated. My only small gripe was that the ceiling-light remote was slow to pick up commands.

The station is right across from the hotel, and from bed you can even see the platforms. My room and bathroom were both exceptionally spacious, and everything felt new and spotless. The lobby amenities were good quality, and there's a free lounge with drinks during certain hours. It made for a comfortable, convenient stay.

The staff made this stay for us. They were so friendly and helpful, always going out of their way. The hotel itself is modern and clean, with comfortable beds and nicely sized rooms. We were right by Morioka station, with plenty of restaurants nearby and lots of services inside the station. The guest lounge had free coffee and soda, and the breakfast buffet had a wide selection of really tasty food. A lovely stay at hotel Richmond.

Our triple room was impressively spacious, and the location is about as convenient as it gets. Richmond hotels seem consistent in that regard. The breakfast buffet was decent, but small for a hotel this size, and I had to wait when I went around 8:30am. If you're in a hurry afterward, get there early. My one complaint was the toilet's motion sensor. It was set too insensitive and kept going off even while I was in there.

The corner twin room was large, and the hotel is nicely designed. But the sink isn't separated from the bedroom by a door, which is awkward if you and your partner don't get up at the same time.
