A lovely, typical Japanese house with all the amenities, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. The host replied quickly when we had questions. Finding the house keys was tricky, the neighborhood was quite dark, and the electricity cut out when we used the microwave and electric stove.

There isn't much space to unpack, just hangers and no shelves or drawers, so we had to keep everything in our suitcases. We were traveling with young kids and cooked all our meals in the apartment, which made the single hot plate, rice cooker, and small fridge challenging. If you plan to eat out, the kitchen won't be a drawback. The apartment itself was very comfortable, with thoughtful kid-friendly touches like toys and plastic plates. There was no air conditioning in the bedrooms, but using the fans to bring in cool air from the living area kept us perfectly comfortable. English tourist information and signs were easy to find. Overall, it worked very well for our little family.

A great alternative to a hotel. It's a nice place that feels like home.

A nice, cozy place with a full kitchen and all the amenities. It can accommodate at least six people.
