Leceb Sesoko Villa

We watched the stars and sunrise, and enjoyed breakfast from a popular local restaurant. It was the kind of villa where you can lose track of time and just enjoy doing nothing. The place sits on a hill just across Sesoko Bridge, close to the beach. Behind the modern exterior were a huge living room, a canopy bed, a private pool, and a jacuzzi bath with a view. Okinawa’s hard water can leave hair feeling rough, but this villa apparently has a softening machine, so the water felt silky on my skin. A bath with their special salts was especially relaxing. I highly recommend it!

We were there for two nights and three days for our honeymoon, and received a complimentary bottle of pineapple sparkling wine. The rooms, baths, toilets, pool, and BBQ area were all spacious and lovely. I especially liked the bathroom hand-washing sink, which looked like Okinawan blue pottery, maybe Yachimun. The staff were kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. I’d definitely come back.

It was easy to get to nearby sightseeing spots, and the villa gave us a peaceful way to enjoy the ocean away from the crowds. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and the interior had a stylish Balinese feel. I’ve heard the place has been used for TV drama filming and that celebrities visit discreetly. Next time, I’d like to try other rooms in the same chain and stay several nights.

The pool was a great place to unwind while taking in the beautiful scenery. The room also had a kitchen, jacuzzi bathroom, and canopy bed, plus there was an outdoor BBQ area. A really satisfying, wonderful stay. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Sesoko Island.
