SLEEEP JP.Myoko

The snowy scenery was EPIC every day we were there, and I honestly liked SLEEEP and Suginohara resort more than the bigger resorts we've tried around Myoko. I'd love to return someday. Thanks again, SLEEEP. Arigatou Gozaimashita! SLEEEP is staffed by friendly, helpful people who all speak fluent English. Ask to join their WhatsApp group chat for updates and questions. We took the bus from Myoko-Kogen station toward Suginosawa, and it dropped us a short walk from SLEEEP. Buses aren't frequent, but they run on time, so watch the schedule. Taxis aren't always available as a backup, since this isn't a busy city or station. Our room was spacious and clean, with futons on tatami, memory foam pillows, and plush comforter blankets. We slept well, and the Wi-Fi worked great. There are several Men's and Women's restrooms in the building. The shared Onsen area has a bath for each gender, with showers and pumped-in hot spring water for a soak after the slopes. There's no private shower or bath, so be sure you're comfortable with communal bathing. My sons weren't used to it, so we went when nobody else was there. You can bring your own ski gear or rent from one of three places: SLEEEP has a limited selection, there's a small private shop by the Suginohara Romance chair lift # 1 a short walk away, or you can rent at the Suginohara resort shop for more money. The communal kitchen and dining area felt cozy. It's highly recommended to bring groceries and clean up after yourselves. Each room has its own cupboard and fridge space. You can join group cooking experiences if you reserve early, but there's no dining or restaurant service at SLEEEP. The Dry Room downstairs was useful for drying wet or damp clothes overnight and storing skis or snowboards. There are several restaurants nearby, though they're "tourist priced." We stayed here with our family for a ski vacation and loved it.

We'd happily stay at Sleep Myoko again. The beds were the best sleep of our trip, and the whole place felt warm and peaceful even with the snow outside. It's clean, modern, and thoughtfully set up with what you need after a big day on the mountain. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond, and check-in was easy. Heating was good, there was plenty of gear storage, and the location made skiing around Myoko convenient. It really was a comfortable, stress-free base for families or anyone visiting Myoko.

We stayed for two weeks, and the friendly staff were really helpful. The communal kitchen and dining and living area has a great vibe, and it's easy to make your own meals there. The location is superb, with the lift right outside the front door. A car is highly recommended if you want to visit other nearby ski resorts.

The team were so warm and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Our room was clean and spacious, and the cozy living room was a nice place to spend time. We happened to be there for a year end party, with hearty local food and good chats with the other guests. It made for a memorable stay, and I'd highly recommend it.
