Hotel New Green

The location was probably what I liked most. The bus station and mall were both about three minutes away, and the Shinkansen was close too. I could shop for whatever I needed and get to work on time without spending much time travelling. I was an exchange student and had my living expenses covered, so paying for this hotel wasn’t a problem. The service was fine. When my air conditioner broke, they moved me to another room. Before I left for work, they asked if they could transfer all my luggage for me. I was given a room with two beds as compensation, and it became a place where my team could get together. My exchange program provided a breakfast buffet ticket each day, so I ate here every morning before work. We got to try a lot of Japanese specialties, and I was very satisfied with the food. I’d recommend the hotel restaurant for breakfast. The receptionists didn’t speak English very well. Luckily, I knew some Japanese at the N4 level, though there were still times when we didn’t fully understand each other. They also made an effort to communicate in English using a voice translation device, so don’t worry too much if your Japanese isn’t great.
