Crowne Plaza ANA Nagasaki Gloverhill by IHG

Staying here felt easy from check-in onward, thanks to the professional, friendly, attentive staff. My room was roomy, clean, and well equipped, with lovely views of Nagasaki. The dining options on site had high-quality food and a pleasant atmosphere. Being close to Glover Garden and other attractions made sightseeing convenient, while the hotel itself stayed quiet and relaxing. ANA Crowne Plaza Nagasaki Gloverhill was a top-notch experience for comfort and convenience.

The room was comfortable and the location was great. The bed was comfortable too. The bathroom is a cabin-style unit, which doesn't really feel like a four-star setup, though it seems common throughout Japan. The TV is dated and only gets a few channels.

Staff were nice, and the location was convenient. It’s an old building and most of it feels dated, though some rooms have been renovated, so definitely ask for one of those. For the price, the value is great, especially for a diamond member.

The desk service was stellar, and the staff were as pleasant and accommodating as the team at the ANA Crowne Plaza in Nagoya, where I also stayed on this trip. My room was a little smaller than rooms I've had in bigger cities, but it was more than enough for me. The full-size window opened toward Glover Garden, which was really nice for winding down in the early evening. Getting directions from Nagasaki Station on Google Maps was a bit tricky, but once past that, the hotel itself was easy to reach. It's not in a prime downtown spot, but it's perfect if you're spending time around Glover Garden, the church, or Chinatown. The Peace Museum and the Nagasaki Museum of History & Culture are about a half-hour bus ride away.
