We've stayed with Grand Base a couple of times and had a great experience. Booking was easy, and advance emails made check-in simple. The place was neat and clean, the WiFi worked well, the fridge was a good size, and the beds were very comfortable. The kids connected their Nintendo Switch, and we signed in to our Netflix account on the smart TV. The nightlife around the neighborhood is a little colorful, but the arcade and Chinatown are within walking distance. There's plenty of coin parking nearby, and the expressway tunnel out of town is close. For a few people staying together, the price is hard to beat.

Right in the downtown area and close to Chinatown, the location was great. There are plenty of parking spots nearby, so we didn't have to worry about finding one. Our group of three found the room exceptionally spacious and very clean, almost more room than we needed. The appliances and facilities were well supplied, which made us feel comfortable. I only wish the bathroom had a sink and a chair.

I booked through Agoda two months ahead, then got told just three days before the stay that the hotel was full and I couldn't stay there. That notice came far too late. I was looking forward to the visit, so I'm disappointed. I hope they improve this.

The kids were thrilled to find drinks and snacks waiting in the room when we arrived. It was clean, great value, and in a fantastic spot close to Chinatown and the bar district.

For a low price, the quality was very satisfying. The amenities were sparse and there was no loungewear, but the kitchen had most of the utensils and dishes we needed, so we didn't have to buy anything. The TV had YouTube and Amazon Prime, which kept me entertained. When I asked about check-in, I got helpful assistance. I'd definitely stay here again.
