For the price and location, I’d happily stay here again. It’s rare to find both at once, though weekend dates tend to fill up, so you generally need to reserve ahead because there are only a few rooms. The room felt comfortable and home-like, and I slept well. Some spots could have been cleaner, so it won’t suit anyone who’s very particular. My allergies acted up, with itchy eyes and a stuffy nose, but overall I was satisfied. I’m giving it five stars mainly for the price and location. It’s the kind of place where you stay as if at someone else’s home. I’m usually easygoing about accommodation as long as I’m sheltered from the night dew, and I think people with a similar attitude will find it one of the best options.

The cathedral is right across from the place, just barely visible from the window. Oura Cathedral tram stop is nearby, and there’s a convenience store straight across the way. There aren’t restaurants nearby, which actually made it feel quieter. The lodging is on the second floor of the Father Kolbe Memorial Museum, and you check in at the shop downstairs. It had the comfort of coming back to your own home, even more than visiting relatives.

Right in the middle of the tourist area, the location is excellent, and the room was comfortable and gave me that same secure feeling as home. The bathroom has also been renovated nicely. I’m usually satisfied with any place that keeps the night dew off me, so I tend to pick based on price, and this is probably one of the best choices for someone like me. I come here every year for my health checkup. It’s very close to Glover Garden, and I like having a private room with a single bed. It’s good value and gives me uninterrupted time. There were no other guests this visit, so I didn’t have to worry about noise or sharing the bath or toilet.
