The field and its maintenance were the real highlight for me. On the rainy second day, the mowing lines were still visible and there were no muddy patches from the morning runners. The first day was sunny, and the grass had an electric shimmer. From reception I could see what looked like quick work, with those clean white stripes. I asked the staff through a translator whether the grass would be cut to 20 or 25 mm, but they couldn't tell me. They seemed to be keeping it low and healthy for the athletes. I was curious whether they used cylinder or rotary mowers, though reception couldn't answer that either, so I did my own research and drew my own conclusions. The view was over a field full of mowers and heavy equipment, and I figured the machinery would mean exceptionally neat grass. I'd stay here again.
