10/10
I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked again after cycling back from Cape Hedo and Yanbaru National Forest. On my first visit, I rode from Naha to Nago and arrived late, soaked through, but got the best service in the world. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the open-air sento was perfect after a long ride. I really liked the breakfast buffet and being able to walk straight over to the beach. Since it was January, I could also walk to Nago Shrine and hike up to Nago Castle Park to see the cherry blossoms.

The public bath doesn’t allow tattoos. We also had to leave our room key before going out, then ask staff to get it back when we returned, which was kind of a hassle. The rooms were a bit dirty.

4/10
The room was generally messy, and it didn’t have the modern features that other rooms had for less money.

The breakfast was better than I expected, with good fish, meat, and eggs. The hot spring bath looks a little old, though it’s clearly kept up carefully.

There’s plenty of free parking, and restaurants and shops are close by. The location is excellent and breakfast was nice. The beds sag, though.
