Getting around was very easy, and the prices were affordable. The hotel is right across from JR Nagoya station, and the staff were helpful. The room, elevator, and hallways were cleaned every day, but the old-looking interior somehow made the place feel less clean. I requested a non-smoking room online, but the room still smelled of cigarette smoke. It lingered through my four-night stay, even with the large window open to air it out. I'm not sure they have non-smoking rooms.

The staff were helpful, though they didn't speak much English. I was first put in a room with a really strong cigarette smell, but they changed it for me. The bathroom was tiny but did the job, and the rooms were functional if you don't expect too much. The location was handy, close to the subway, restaurants, and convenience stores.

The staff were very helpful, even if they didn't have a lot to say. The location was perfect.

The rooms are adorable, though smoke from the smoking rooms still seems to linger in the non-smoking ones.

It's a small, cheap hotel, and its location is the one real plus for me. None of the front desk staff spoke much English. When I tried talking to them, they couldn't understand me and didn't seem able to help.
