Hotel Abest Osu Kannon Ekimae

Dear Management, I can't find the company's email, so I'm posting my letter here. I want to thank Yoshio Nagashima for the care he showed during my recent stay. I was checking out the next day to go to the mountains, and without my snow boots I wouldn't have had time to replace them or enjoy the trip. He really saved my vacation. I was worried the cleaning staff might have accidentally thrown the boots away. Mr. Nagashima listened patiently and with empathy, then did everything he could to help. He even searched through the garbage with me, though I hadn't expected a staff member to get involved like that. He also thought of other places to check and helped look there too. In the end, the boots were deep under the bed, probably pushed there by mistake. The rooms are small, and I understand that minor accidents happen, so please don't blame anyone. Mr. Nagashima never complained or showed resentment, and I could feel how relieved and happy he was when we found them. His help meant a lot. I also want to recognize Mr. Takahashi for being professional and polite. We had some difficulty communicating in English, but he patiently waited while I used a translation app to put my English into Japanese, then answered my questions slowly and patiently. Some of the other staff seemed a little distant, but the service from Mr. Nagashima and Mr. Takahashi will make Abest Hotel my first choice on my next visit to Nagoya. I'll recommend the hotel to friends because of them. Mr. Nagashima seemed quite young, and I think his ability, efficiency, and thoughtfulness would fit a higher position. I wish him all the best in the future. Thank you for having such wonderful staff.

I gave everything five stars. The room was spacious enough for me compared with other places. The location is superb for getting around and shopping. The reception staff were so nice, especially the uncle, who was gentle and very energetic.

It's an old hotel, but my room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, and when I left they walked me to the door and gave me a little gift. There's also a lounge where you can get free coffee and fruit juice.

The location was decent, which helped since we wanted to spend as little time in the hotel as possible. The staff were fine, but the rooms were really dirty: dust everywhere, stains on the curtains and bathtub, and mold all over. They smelled bad too, and I could hear the person in the next room snoring. A best? More like the worst.
