The staff went out of their way to contact a department store where I’d lost my belongings. Their quick help meant I got my things back, and I’m very grateful. I stayed three nights and had a fantastic experience, with a perfect location and top-notch service. If I come back to Nagoya, this hotel will be my first choice. Highly recommended!

We stayed at VIA INN Nagoya during a trip we’ll never forget. On Christmas Day, 25 December, we left Singapore on an early ANA flight at 06:35, changed planes at Narita Airport, then continued on a domestic flight to Nagoya. A two-hour delay during the transfer stretched the journey to nearly 13 hours, and we finally arrived in Nagoya around 20:00. Tired and shaken, we took the Meitetsu Line from Chubu Centrair International Airport to Nagoya Station. In our exhaustion, we left our backpacks on the train while getting off. They had important medication and a laptop inside. At the hotel, we went straight to the front desk for help. A staff member, a woman who spoke excellent English, immediately helped us try to contact the station and relevant offices about the missing bags. They were already closed for the night. She reassured us, said she’d follow up the next morning, and got us checked in quickly so we could rest. Her calm manner helped settle our nerves after such a hard day. We later chose to walk back to the station ourselves and eventually heard that our belongings could be collected at Gifu Station. The support we received at the hotel made a real difference that night. We didn’t see her again during our three-night stay because of our schedule, so before leaving we asked a colleague to pass on our heartfelt thanks. The room was 19 square metres, compact as you’d expect at a Japanese business hotel, but very efficiently laid out and comfortable. It had a proper work desk, comfortable beds, and separate toilet and shower areas, which we especially appreciated after the long trip. It was spotless and quiet, and we could recover properly. The hotel’s location was another big plus. Eateries, cafés, and several convenience stores were an easy walk away, handy for a late dinner, a quick breakfast, or last-minute essentials. Being close to Nagoya Station also made airport transfers and city travel easy. What we’ll remember most about VIA INN Nagoya is the people. To the front desk team, especially the woman who helped us that night, thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and calm reassurance when we needed it. We’ll always remember it. Highly recommended for a visit to Nagoya, particularly for travelers arriving late from Chubu Centrair International Airport, on long transits, or looking for genuine Japanese hospitality, a convenient location, and everyday comforts.

What stood out most was how efficiently and thoughtfully the staff helped us feel at ease. We spent four nights here and were very happy with the service. The room was clean and roomy, and the bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, including a little onsen-style tub. Nagoya station is nearby, with plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Shopping is easy too, with Takashimaya, Big Camera and ESCA all within walking distance. We'd happily stay again when we're in Nagoya. Great work by the team, and highly recommended.

We had no complaints and really liked this hotel. The room was a reasonable size, everything was clean and the facilities all worked. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. It's close to Nagoya station, so getting around is easy, and the area was quiet at night.
