Food nearby is easy to find, with plenty of lunch and dinner restaurants close to HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi. The walk can seem short or unexpectedly long depending on which Nagoya Station exit you use. The room was small and practical, with what I needed for a brief stay, and the service was polite and efficient but minimal. Nothing stood out, though nothing was terrible either. It’s a budget option if you want to be near the station and restaurants and don’t need much space or extras.

Breakfast came packed from the lobby, and there’s no shared area to eat it, so you have to take it to your room or eat elsewhere. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The room scored 3/5, cleanliness 4/5, facilities 3/5, and value 3.5/5. We liked having a microwave in the room. I booked mainly for the 350m distance to Nagoya Station, but on our three-night stay we more often used Kamejima Station, 550m away, to get around.

The room and toilet were clean and neat, and the mattress was comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, and kettle in the room, which was handy for travellers. It’s very close to the MRT station, and I’d recommend it.

It takes a little walk from the station, but the room was clean and compact, and the staff were very accommodating. The bed was soft, the bathroom had great water pressure, and I liked having a tub with warm water to unwind in after exploring Nagoya. The TV worked well too.

Clean, and there’s a water dispenser in the lobby. The location is good too, within walking distance of nagoya st and shishimaru ramen 😊
