It’s easy to walk to major attractions from here, and there are subway stations, restaurants, convenience stores, busy shopping areas, the Central Power Tower, and parks nearby. In the evening, though, the neighborhood becomes an entertainment district, so it may not suit families with children as well.

The location has its ups and downs. Tourist spots are easy to reach, but every night I saw a sketchy guy standing outside the hotel. Across the street, attractive, more scantily dressed women came and went about every half hour, along with an older woman inviting people inside. I didn’t see anyone at the entrance at night, unless it was monitored another way, so maybe someone else could use this as a love hotel. Inside, the hotel was very clean. Reception spoke great English and check-in was quick. The beds were really comfortable, though the pillows weren’t. The rooms were clean and not as small as in some other hotels. The laundry seemed barely used, and we could wash what we needed, but the dryer took much longer than expected, around two hours. Breakfast didn’t look like the pictures. There were far fewer options, and not many good choices if you like sweet food, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

The street has people offering “service,” and it’s lined with izakayas. That might make the area less suitable for a family trip, but it could be a good fit for solo travelers or couples.
