The price is really good, and the location is absolutely perfect. I brought my own towels and toiletries just in case, but everything was provided.

Cooking facilities are included, so it’s a good fit for a longer stay. The location is excellent, right beside Asahibashi Station and the bus center.

I had a much more comfortable week than I expected, and I’d definitely stay again ( ´ ▽ ` ). I built my Okinawa trip around Asahi21 and would give it a 4, nearly a 5, for value and location. The unit bath, washing machine, TV, microwave, bed, air conditioning, kitchenette, refrigerator, and balcony clothesline made the stay easy. There’s an izakaya on the first floor, and the bus terminal and Asahibashi Station are close. Rental bicycles right outside really widened my options. I even rode to Asato Station and Shuri Castle.

The rooms are small, but you can cook in the kitchen, and I think the price is reasonable. The front desk is in the restaurant downstairs, where they serve delicious Okinawan soba. Location is the big draw: it’s incredibly close to Naha Bus Terminal and Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail, making it a convenient place to stay while exploring southern Okinawa or before heading north.

Check in at Izakaya Asahi to rent a room. It’s close to the Asahibashi Station monorail and bus terminal, and Kokusai Street is an easy walk away.
