GRG Hotel Naha Higashimachi

Five minutes from Asahibashi station and Kokusai Dori, so the location was great. I couldn't believe how luxurious the stay felt for what I paid. Definitely get the breakfast included when you book, it's really worth it.

Nice hotel, but be careful where you park. I left my car across the street for 15 hours and got charged ¥8,200. I'm still in disbelief.

The rooms are good enough, and the location is great. I'd book a balcony room. The massage chair was nice, and the bathroom is a normal half-height one. Front desk staff were a bit hit or miss, and if you don't speak much Japanese, they aren't very helpful. You have to sort things out yourself. Breakfast is pretty basic, though the coffee is good.

The room had a massage chair, which was a pleasant surprise, and there was enough space for two adults and an infant. They don't provide bedding for babies, so I was glad we brought our pack n play. The room felt dated and poorly ventilated, and it was VERY humid even in spring. Getting around was convenient: the station is under a five-minute walk, car rental services are less than ten minutes away, and a major tourist shopping area is about ten minutes away. As for the breakfast buffet, I'd only add it for convenience. The food was meh and forgettable. Toast was probably the best thing there, and there's a Family Mart around the corner.
