They canceled my reservation without asking, a month before my trip, even though I’d booked six months ahead. They said they were closing. On the day I traveled, I came back from the ramen place next door and found the hotel full, with lots of golfers at the front desk. Be careful, an early cheap booking might still leave you turned away.
We’d booked for one person even though three of us were meant to stay, but the staff were flexible and accommodating. The service showed real Okinawan hospitality, and I’d like to come back. Our room was clean, the station wasn’t far, and there’s a 24-hour supermarket close by.
This is a small, clean, new restaurant with a great price. There are supermarkets and noodle shops nearby, so food is easy to find. The counter staff don’t speak English fluently, but they try their best to help. It’s closer to the station than I expected. Since it seems new, many taxi drivers don’t know it, and it can be hard to find in navigation apps. I’d use Google Maps and give the driver directions to save time.
A typhoon canceled my flight, so I was looking for somewhere to stay. They agreed to take my reservation over the phone, and when I arrived soaked with nowhere else to go, they kindly showed me to a room before check-in time. I’m very grateful for that. There’s a Lawson next door and an Okinawa soba restaurant across the street. I picked this hotel because the price with breakfast seemed like a bargain. The room was a typical business hotel room, but that doesn’t lower my rating.
