The location worked really well for us, less than a three-minute walk from Asahibashi Monorail, with some lovely restaurants nearby. The room was bright, clean, and cozy, and the price felt very affordable for its size. The kitchen had the utensils we needed, the bed was decent, and the pillows were better than I expected compared with many hotels. The dryer also worked exceptionally well. Living Inn Annex uses self check-in, so pay close attention to the details when checking in on the ground floor, especially since there’s another Living Inn nearby. The curtains don’t block all the light, though that may not matter if you’re up early and heading out. We were quite pleased and would recommend it for couples.

The room was clean and bright, and being only three minutes from the monorail made it easy to come and go. Service is basically nonexistent, but given what you pay, that’s understandable if you set your expectations accordingly. The ground-floor entrance was cluttered with quite a few trolleys and bags of both used and fresh towels. It didn’t affect our stay, but it wasn’t nice to look at. Ventilation was poor too, leaving the floor wet, though it wasn’t slippery.

The room was huge by Japanese standards, though the bathroom was tiny, and the location right by the ferry terminal put shops and nightlife close by. The service was very friendly, and there were free clothes-washing facilities. The lobby smelled of cigarettes, and parking was limited. We were lucky to get one of the four or five spaces. For the price, I’d definitely stay again.

We were there in February and the room was freezing. The AC was really noisy and didn’t warm it up, so I was glad I only had to stay one night.
