This B&B is on high ground, so the city views are lovely, and despite being beside a traffic junction, it was quiet most of the time. Shuri Castle is a 5-10 minute walk away. Gibo monorail station takes about 15 minutes on foot, while Shuri station is about 20 minutes away. There's parking for three cars. The entrance is a floor below the main road. My room was Japanese style, with tatami mats and a futon that I had to lay out myself. It was clean, with free wifi. The toilet was beside my room, and the bathing room was downstairs. The owner was very friendly and spoke English. She left towels for bathing at night and made a Japanese breakfast in the morning, with rice, fish, tofu, vegetables, and miso soup. Staying there felt like being in a Japanese home, and it was good value.

They cancelled my booking two days before I was due to stay. It seems they do this at the last minute repeatedly. I was travelling, and sorting out a new schedule and finding another hotel took half a day. It also threw off plans for the next few days. The price shown when I booked didn't match what I was quoted, and the person on the phone was rude. They don't seem to realize how serious their conduct is. I suspect there are many other people affected, but because these cases don't become public, they keep getting away with it.
