West Villa

We had an easy stay with self check-in and check-out, and could communicate through Booking.com messages. The neighborhood is quiet, in downtown Naha but away from Kokusai Street. Three of us were comfortable, and the two rooms look like they could fit four or five people, so it seems well suited to a group. Cooking isn't allowed, which makes sense for a trip, but the microwave and kettle were handy, and using the washer and dryer was easy. Having parking available also made getting home comfortable. There are plenty of places to visit nearby if you're not planning to stay on Kokusai Street.

The location is convenient, right in the city center, and it seems well suited to a one- or two-night stay or as the last stop on an itinerary. There was no bathtub, and carrying luggage up to the fourth floor was exhausting 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨.

Free parking was a plus, and the washer and dryer were useful. The place was clean, with spacious rooms that suit a family, including tatami rooms. The beds felt a little soft and the decor somewhat dated. The fourth floor is quite high, so someone strong will need to carry the luggage.

The apartment is fairly large for Japan, but it felt neglected and had an unpleasant smell. There were stains on the walls, floors, and towels. It's centrally located near the beach, supermarkets, and city center. Keep in mind it's on the fourth floor with no elevator, so it isn't really suitable for elderly or frail people.
