The bedding was comfy, and there were thoughtful touches around the place. Everything felt very modern and clean.

The nearest bus stop is "Nahari Tatemachi." As of January 2026, a local bus runs between Aki, Nahari Station, Cape Muroto, and Muroto Geopark. Lawson, an agricultural cooperative store, restaurants, Nahari Station on the Tosa Kuroshio Railway, and a post office are all within a 10-minute walk. This guesthouse in Nahari Town, Kochi Prefecture, used to be Yamamoto Ryokan, which served pilgrims. It has since been renovated and renamed Junos. The guest rooms are private and lockable, while the bathrooms, showers, and Western-style toilets with washlets are shared. There is a lounge with a refrigerator, toaster, and microwave, plus a washing machine available for a fee. I stayed one night, though longer stays are possible. You get towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes, and shampoo and body soap are available in the bathroom. Yukatas, pajamas, and other nightwear aren't provided. Eating and drinking aren't allowed in the guest rooms. You can't pay by credit card on-site, so accommodation payments there have to be in cash. To pay by card, you need to prepay through a hotel reservation website that accepts credit cards.

The rest of the place is stylish, and despite some noise from the old house, I had a comfortable stay. This was my first time in a private lodging, though, and a staff member opened my room without permission while I was staying there, even though it was locked with a combination lock. Are all the room locks the same? That doesn't seem possible.
