The hotel's care for showing people the beauty of Nara comes through in all the details. The night tour is well worth doing, and the views were beautiful. The food was delicious, and the friendly team made vegetarian meals easy and convenient. There were lots of drinks to choose from, including different kinds of Japanese sake. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. Definitely 10/10, and I hope more people get to see and appreciate this place.

We had a great family getaway and would absolutely stay here again when we visit Nara. The staff were friendly and attentive, ready to answer questions or arrange extras for sightseeing and family needs. We also liked the shared spaces: the lobby felt elegant but welcoming for kids, and it was easy to head out on foot and explore the local area. Our family of four had plenty of room to relax in a spacious, very clean room. The thoughtful design, good bedding, and quiet atmosphere meant everyone slept well. Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous, nicely presented spread of Japanese and Western choices. Its location near Nara Park and the historic temples and green spaces offered both convenience and a calm setting. The kids spotted deer in the nearby park, making it a memorable outing.

The dinner was a particular highlight, and Mr Isobe, Ms Mayoko, and Ms Tanaka went out of their way to make us feel special. I'd suggest booking a room with a view. Just be aware that the public bath uses locally sourced Nara water, not onsen spring water. A one-night stay with the seasonal dining options is worth it.

Our room, the food, and the service were all fantastic. There are shared baths as well as private ones, including outdoor baths on the rooftop level. The hotel also runs shuttle buses to and from the train stations each day, which made exploring Nara easy.

You get lovely views of Nara, and there's a bath on the rooftop. The hotel also offers a degustation menu featuring local ingredients and sake. Great hotel.
