Tosei Hotel & Seminar Makuhari

The bed was surprisingly spacious and comfortable for one person, even though the room itself can be small. I booked Friday to Saturday for a solo stay, and the lower price makes sense for a business-style hotel. The location is handy, close to the station and not far from Disney or the factory outlet. The staff were very helpful and held my luggage before and after my stay. The bathroom was clean, with a bidet toilet and a shower area with a bathtub. There was fast Wi-Fi in the room, plus a mini fridge and water boiler for a late-night snack or drink.

We used this as our base for a Disney trip with my three teenage daughters, and it worked out really well. The price was affordable, and the parks were only five stops away on the JE line. The hotel is under a five minute walk from the station along a wide pedestrian boulevard, and we felt safe walking there after dark. Our room was compact but had enough storage and made good use of the space. The four separate bunks each had their own light and power outlet. There’s a microwave in the shared area, which we used on the first evening when we were too tired to go out. Daiso is also about a five minute walk away if you realize you’ve forgotten something. We’d happily come back.

We got a four-bed bunk room for two adults and two children, with plenty of space compared with other places. It’s a great spot for a young family, and the train station nearby is just a few stops from Disneyland.

The outside gives the impression of an older hotel, though the inside has been renovated.
