Comfort Hotel Narita

The free breakfast was a nice extra, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but pleasant and clean. The hotel is right outside the train station, about 10 minutes from NRT. A nice place to stay if you want to spend a couple of days around Tokyo.

For 10,000 yen, or 89CAD, the room was excellent and the bathroom was delightful. Breakfast came with the stay and was the best part, with eggs, waffles, and both Western and traditional food. The check-in staff were wonderful.

We stayed here for our final night in Japan to make the airport transfer less stressful. The rooms were spacious and breakfast was generous. Restaurants and a good mall for last-minute souvenirs are within walking distance. We'd definitely do this again.

The location was easy once I knew the route from Keisei-Narita station: follow the signs for the east exit, take the escalators down, then the elevator the rest of the way. There was a clear sign for it, followed by just a short, flat walk. The whole trip takes about five minutes. If you're coming from JR station, this is still the quickest and easiest way, even if Google Maps suggests otherwise. It doesn't account for walking through the station to the east exit. The escalators make the way back up easy, and Keisei-Narita station gives you easy access to the main street leading to the temple and park. I had a room for two to myself, and it had everything I needed. The bed seemed a little big for one person but maybe small for two, and if you're over 1.85m tall your feet will probably hang over the edge. It was very quiet, with almost no outside noise, and the blackout curtains worked well. The staff were very friendly. They spoke and understood basic English, or would find someone who could. Breakfast was complimentary, a simple buffet with plenty of choice: a few breads, vegetable dishes, salad, scrambled egg, sausages, a rice dish, soups, and yoghurt. There was fresh juice, coffee, and tea, with a mix of Japanese and Western options. The breakfast area stays open until midnight for sitting and eating your own meals, and there's a toaster and microwave to use.
