Tabino Hotel EXpress Narita

The check-in went smoothly thanks to counter staff who were friendly and helpful. But when I arrived, the onsen was available only to men. Since women and men pay the same price, that felt unfair. The hotel could improve this.

Good for the price, and it looks like the hotel was renovated recently. The room had air conditioning, plenty of plugs for devices, and three beds. Breakfast was good, and there's laundry on site. I'll be back soon.

The service was lovely, and the staff were so friendly. Happy hour was awesome. I had a great experience and will come back.

The building was clean but seemed a little old. My room was roomy, with a large sofa built into the wall, though the bathroom was surprisingly compact. Breakfast came on a tray with individual side dishes, plus a choice of rice, curry, bread, and other items. There were lots of different sides and plenty to eat. I was looking for a room for three and booked the character collaboration triple room. I was traveling with my mother, who is in her 70s and had come from far away. The Hello Kitty acrylic keychain, given only to guests in the collaboration rooms, made a nice keepsake for her. The explanation was brief and clear, and check-in was quick. Free drinks from 3pm and all-you-can-drink alcohol from 5pm, I think until 8pm, were a welcome bonus. Although the bath is called "Ajisai no Yu" (Hydrangea Hot Spring), the large public bath is for men only.
