Business Hotel Nishinasu

It's an older place, but it works well for a solo trip. The hotel is clean and well looked after, and the staff were pleasant and polite.

For a reasonably priced inn, this was a very good option, as long as you don't mind stairs. I stayed in a twin room that felt spacious enough, and even with the compact unit bath and toilet, it was quite comfortable. There's also a large public bath. Breakfast starts at 6:30, with rice, miso soup, and salad for you to serve yourself. The many side dishes went nicely with the rice. It was mostly Japanese food with a homemade touch, so I'd recommend ordering the set.

Honestly, I'd use this hotel again. For the low price, the rooms were clean, the bathroom and toilet were separate, and they were bigger than what you'd get at major hotel chains. Our family of three booked three single rooms. The public bath wasn't especially large, but it was enough, and having breakfast brought to us instead of serving ourselves at a buffet made things easy. There was a good range of side dishes, and the rice was delicious. The value made me appreciate the company's effort. The only reason I took off a service star was the lack of an elevator, though I can't really complain.

I stayed in a non-smoking Japanese-style single room without a bath. There's no elevator, as far as I could tell, and the building feels a little dated, but it's adequately equipped. At the front desk, guests can freely take copies of the Yomiuri Shimbun and local newspapers. The men's public bath has a powerful jet bath that feels like a massage. It fits about three adults, so it's better to avoid busy times. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The futon area is slightly raised, making it easy to sit and watch TV. The air conditioner was a clean 2018 Kirigamine, and the 32-inch TV was a 2024 model with YouTube, Netflix, Tver, Amazon Prime, and other online services. The wallpaper had been replaced with white paper, so the room looked fresher than the booking photos. I could hear thumping from next door, but not voices. Some hallway noise came through, though the door between the entrance and tatami room blocked most of it. There was almost no smell, including cigarette or tatami odors. The toilet had a fairly new Panasonic seat; the sink felt older, but the faucet area was new. Breakfast is a set meal, with unlimited rice, miso soup, and salad. The kitchen staff were kind and reassuring. The location is convenient along the national highway, and there is plenty of parking behind the hotel. Even during Golden Week, several spaces were free, so arriving late shouldn't be an issue.
