It was near Kunifuku Hospital. The closest convenience store takes about 10 minutes to walk to, so it’s a 20-minute round trip. Transport is scarce, so you really need a car to get around. Shuttle buses do run, but check their hours since they’re limited too.

The room was spacious and pretty, and the service was good.

My wife and I stayed here for New Year’s on January 2, 2026. We paid 9,900 yen, and the room was quiet and spacious, with a good range of amenities for the price. The building itself was peaceful too. I’d planned to use the hot spring in the morning, but it was closed for cleaning from 9:00 a.m., so be mindful of the hours. There’s no dinner, so I picked up takeout from a nearby restaurant. The coin laundry was handy for getting two days’ worth of washing done, and detergent is sold at the front desk if you forget yours. Coffee and tea bags were also available there, and the coffee was tasty. Breakfast was included and very good, with plenty of New Year’s dishes that seemed to use carefully chosen ingredients. New Year’s music helped set the mood. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area.
