Hotel Casual Euro

I hate leaving a review like this, but the place didn't look like the photos online. Luckily, we were only there for one night. My fiancé started having allergies within a minute of entering the room. The hallway smelled, as I'd seen mentioned in a review after booking in a rush, and unfortunately the rooms smelled of mold too. It didn't feel clean or welcoming from the start. We had to change rooms. To her credit, the staff member helped us choose between two others, and we took the one that smelled less. My parents were with me. They're not fussy, but they also said the rooms smelled bad. The walls were paper-thin, which wasn't pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially at that price.

The public hot spa is fantastic, and the buffet meals are nice, mostly Japanese food with some great Western options. The futons are comfortable. The private spa on the balcony is a little small, though. It would be ideal if it could fit everyone staying in the room.

The onsen hot spring is great value. Admission is only 500 yen, and you can buy a ticket at the hotel reception. Bring your own towel if you don't want to rent one there. There are two sides to the bath: indoor pools at different temperatures and an outdoor stone bath where you can relax and enjoy yourself.

The room was a good size and had a nice balcony On-sen with a shower, but it smelled very musty and didn't look like the photos. There was nowhere to hang towels. They provided green tea only, with no coffee or sugar.
