Brilliant. We had a wonderful St Stephens day here and I'd definitely recommend it.

The view was amazing, and the baths were very clean and well maintained. The men's and women's baths are separate, in a small setup. Friendly staff too.

A lovely traditional inn in the Kinugawaonsen area. We chose the light meal option and there was plenty to eat. The meal was delicious and service was good. My Japanese is very broken, but the innkeeper tried so hard to talk with me. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

It's a bit remote, but you can walk to Nikko Edomura and some other local attractions. This little ryokan has all the fixings: in-room kaiseki dining, an outdoor bath, and gorgeous views. Hope I can return someday.

We were lucky enough to have the onsen to ourselves. Such a nice place, and the staff were super friendly!
