Nikko Cottage FU-SHA

The pictures really don't do the room justice. It was wonderful and extremely comfortable, in a great part of Nikko. We stayed one night, and Yoshiko was incredibly kind and accommodating, going out of her way to help. We also had a fantastic meal at one of the places she recommended. We'd book here again if we return.

Yoshiko picked us up at the train station and helped us plan our day, including sorting out our train and temple tickets. She also left bread and fruit for breakfast in the cabin. The guest house was clean and tidy, with lovely details and an authentic feel. The main temples are about a 15-minute walk away. We had a great time and would love to come back. Highly recommended, and thanks for everything!

We felt so at home in the Cottage that I wish we'd stayed a few more days. It had everything we needed, and Yoshiko was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. When we weren't sure how to get to our next destination, she worked out the whole route and helped us buy the right tickets so we'd get where we needed to go. I'd recommend it 100/10.

My brother and I spent two nights here and loved it. The setting is breathtaking, and the house is adorable, but the host was the best part. She was so kind and helpful, took time to explain everything, drove us to the station, and even did our laundry. We'd recommend the place to anyone.
