We stayed in the deluxe room, which was spacious and had beautiful views. Even the bathtub had a lovely view, and felt like our own little onsen. There's ample parking, and the kids had all the space they wanted to play in the snow. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Special thanks to Hide-san for making us feel so welcome. He's one of the main reasons we'd come back. The one thing I'd change is breakfast service. It seems to be outsourced to an outside vendor, and that vendor really needs to be replaced immediately if this hotel is to stay one of the best places to stay in Niseko.

Pensione Uno offers some of the best prices in Niseko for a room with a private bathroom, and we were very happy with the service. Our room was spacious and really clean, and breakfast was good. We'd stay again. I had a car, so getting around wasn't a problem for us. There was free parking right in front of the accommodation.

The place is a bit away from the busy resorts, which I really liked. I had a rental car, so getting around was easy, and there’s plenty of free parking. Annupuri is about 1.2 miles away and Grand Hirafu about 4.5 miles, both easy drives. After seeing the crowds at Grand Hirafu on my first snowboard day, I was glad I’d stayed farther out. My room had loads of space for one person, with a fridge/freezer, TV, low table, stool, hangers and a tatami bed big enough for my 6'1" frame. The heater worked really well. I was unsure about sharing a bathroom, but it was VERY clean, the shower pressure was strong, and free toiletries were available. I enjoyed breakfast in the dining area, and it was also a nice place to hang out or work on my laptop. The free wifi was fast enough for streaming movies. Every staff member I met was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The rooms and facilities were really clean, and breakfast was delicious. There were free drinks available throughout the day, which was a nice extra, and the gear room had plenty of space. I was glad to have coin laundry during a longer stay. It’s a great base for a ski or snowboard trip. The bus stops for all the resorts are just a short walk up the road, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. It felt like a home away from home. Thanks for looking after us so kindly. We hope to visit again.

Just keep in mind that the pension is away from the main areas. If you need food at night, you won’t be able to get any nearby, and the road is pitch black with no sidewalks. The building is very well designed and has some amazing views. The showers, restrooms and dining area were super clean, and the rooms had enough space. Staff were attentive and easy to approach, as long as you speak Japanese.
