Just an ordinary business hotel. Not bad.

The free breakfast had a good range of dishes and tasted good. I ate as much as I wanted. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff lent me an extension cord when I asked. I was traveling by rental car. The free parking had a decent number of spaces and was easy to access, right beside the hotel even with luggage. The building is older, so there wasn’t an outlet by the bed, which made charging my phone inconvenient. I’d stay here again if I had the chance.

The building is old but well maintained, and I was impressed by the efforts to add value: free drinks, late-night ochazuke, a manga corner, and a breakfast buffet at no charge. There’s a Chinese restaurant, convenience store, and 24-hour supermarket within walking distance, so despite being far from the station, I didn’t find the location inconvenient. I’d thought I might need to buy things before heading over. The breakfast photo showed rice and udon, so I expected just a main dish and miso soup. In fact, there was most of what you’d find at a regular buffet, including curry and yogurt for dessert, plus eggs you could fry yourself on a hot plate. If you’re specifically expecting the udon from the photo, it might not be what you want. The fried eggs might take a while if you use Sunny Side Up. The large public bath isn’t actually very large, as the photo shows. If several people want to use it at once, you’ll need to work out how to get in, though it wasn’t crowded during my stay. To get there, you go out the back entrance and walk a few steps to the annex, so in winter it’s a good idea to put on an extra jacket if you’re heading out in pajamas. The lockers don’t lock, so you have to leave your belongings at the front desk beforehand. Soft drinks and the large public bath are available until 11 PM. Alcohol is served from 7 PM to 9 PM, and late-night ochazuke from 9 PM to 11 PM. In the morning, the bath and front desk are closed. Guests just have to return their keys before checking out.

Good value for the money, with a free drink bar, late-night snack, and breakfast. The reception area was very clean, and the receptionist was polite. The drink bar has unlimited soft drinks from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and unlimited alcohol from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. They also provide ice, with ice and large cups in the vending machine area, and there are plenty of amenities. Manga books are available too. It wasn’t mentioned on the website, but late-night snacks seem to be offered on some days. They provide ochazuke (rice with tea). The rice is kept in a rice cooker, so you could bring it to your room and eat it with supermarket side dishes without making ochazuke, though since ochazuke is normally provided, that’s not recommended. My room was the smallest, but it was enough. I heard some noise from the hallway, though it was generally quiet at night. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, but you can adjust the temperature and airflow in the room. It isn’t very user-friendly, as it only blows centrally controlled air until the set temperature is reached, and the motor rattled annoyingly at times. The bath is mainly for men. Women-only hours are available until around 7 PM if you reserve the day before. There’s a supermarket nearby and an Aeon a bit farther away, so grocery shopping is easy. The first paved parking lot has about 20 spaces, and the second gravel lot at the back has just over 10. The paved lot fills before 6 PM, and about three spaces are closed off for large vehicles. There was enough choice at breakfast. It seems to have an egg press, and you can make fried eggs on the hot plate. I appreciated that they quickly replenish the food when it starts running low.
