The renovated bathroom was clean, and the washer-dryer was so useful. It’s a huge house in a handy spot, just a short walk from the slopes and the main shops. The place has a classic Japanese style and is well maintained. What a great place to stay!

The hospitality was great, and there was room for everyone in the big house. It’s a little out of the way from the shops and ski resort, but I’d still love to stay here again if I visit nozawa.

You can walk to the ski resort from this two-story Japanese house. There are 12 hot springs nearby, plus more you can use for an extra fee. They’re extremely hot, and some don't have a place to wash. The house has two sets of showers and toilets, along with wine and champagne glasses, sake and a hot pot set. Bringing our own ingredients and cooking was a great experience. If you ask your host ahead of time, you can use the guesthouse parking lot across the street.
