That little lift is only a three-minute walk away, and there’s also a free Onsen nearby. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot, so it stays clear of the noisy bar crowds, yet town centre is an easy ten-minute walk and there are good places to eat and drink close by. Our group of three stayed five nights, and the staff were so warm. They helped with reservations, tours, and local suggestions, and even found us a private transfer to our next hotel in Myoko when no cabs were available. That was a lifesaver. The rooms and grounds were spotless, as were the shared bathrooms and showers. I was unsure about Japanese-style sleeping since my friend had booked it, but I slept perfectly each night. The pillows and blankets were super cozy, and the heated floors made the room feel luxurious. The whole team felt like family by the end. Such a lovely stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We’d stayed somewhere else in a similar spot before, so the bar was already high, but NozawaSnow was even better. The fully stocked kitchen has personal fridges, and both the bathrooms and rooms were super clean. The drying room was excellent too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and one of the best Okonomiyaki restaurants is just 3m from the front door, which was a nice bonus. We loved it and definitely recommend it!

As a skier, I loved being just a three-minute walk from the nearest chair lift. There’s also a public onsen right around the corner that guests can use for free. Nozawasnow is a very clean guesthouse with a well equipped kitchen and a café serving really good coffee. The staff and managers were friendly and helpful, which made everything easy and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back!

They even arranged to have our luggage sent to the airport, which freed us up for the rest of our trip. As first-time visitors to Japan, we also got more advice than we could have hoped for. The staff offered excellent suggestions and were friendly without ever being intrusive. We stayed six nights at Nozawasnow with our two kids, aged 5 and 7. The quiet location is ideal, about a ten-minute walk from the village centre. One of the best onsen is 100 meters away, and a chairlift giving access to the ski slopes is also 100 meters away. The facilities were comfortable and clean, so we felt at home as soon as we arrived. We’d definitely stay again on our next trip to Japan.

We really enjoyed the chalet, and the team made us feel welcome and helped us throughout our stay. The location worked perfectly for us: a charming onsen is just around the corner, the ski centre is a 15 minute walk away, and the village centre and restaurants are close by. We had a great time at NozawaSnow. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
